Captain Robert Jones: A Life of Dedication and Tragic Loss

Captain Robert Jones of UCSC began his career dedicated to public safety, only to tragically lose his battle after sustaining a traumatic brain injury from a motorist. His story is one of service, bravery, and perseverance in the face of hardship. Despite the challenges that his injury presented, Captain Jones’ commitment to the people of Santa Cruz never wavered.

The accident that led to his untimely passing ultimately inspired the creation of the Fallen Officer Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping first responders and their families in times of need. His legacy lives on not only through his years of service but through the foundation that continues to assist others in their darkest hours.
